Session 2: How will we make, build, assemble and yield things?

Technology is reshaping business across industries and sectors, from manufacturing to food production, from logistics to energy. It is enabling new business models and allowing for a massive boost in resource utilization and efficiency.

Despite the positive effects that can be anticipated, businesses, job markets and societies will struggle to adapt. A key issue for nations and cities will be to identify and use the right levers in order to maximize the positive effects of technology transformation and unleash future growth.
