Paul is a Senior Manager/Director experienced in promoting, developing and managing advanced technology projects on a regional, national and international basis. He has acted as a consultant to the European Commission on their strategic research programmes and served for seven years as Chairman of the Northern Ireland Aerospace Consortium, a cluster of precision engineering companies. For seventeen years, Paul was General Manager in Northern Ireland for the civil aerospace business unit of Rolls-Royce specialising in the design and development of safety-critical software control systems for the company’s range of aircraft engines. Recently, Paul has provided strategic mentoring support to the regional government’s Leadership Programme for innovative export-oriented companies.
