Senior General Manager, Tenaga Nasional Berhad
Loo Kok Seng is the Senior General Manager (Sustainability & Corporate Asset Management) in TNB (since 2012). He began his career with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) in 1982 as Assistant Engineer and has since taken up various role spanning Planning, Distribution, Transmission, Generation and Finance Division. This includes as General Manager (Financial Planning) in 2006 and as General Manager (Strategic Planning) in 2008. Current and past roles include: Sustainability & Green Energy; Asset Management; Smart Grid; Tariff & Commercial; Energy Economics, Generation Planning; and Business Planning. He has lead numerous local and international projects on energy & electricity planning, pricing, Smart Grid and its related innovation. He is currently the Vice Chairman of AESIEAP Technical Committee (2017-2018) and the Chairperson of AESIEAP WG1 on Smart City.
He is a professional engineer and holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Hons), Master in Engineering (Energy Technology & Economics) and Master in Business Administration
